An in-browser layout editor for LED animations, like the ones on Schneeflocke and LED Cube3. Pick a shape from the Layout dropdown (Strip, Triangle, Matrix, Hex, Circle or Cube), set its size, and hit Build.

Click an LED to toggle it - with Symmetry on, its mirror partners toggle too (right-click toggles just the one). Scroll or pinch to zoom, drag to pan, double-click to reset. Switch the tool to Paint or Erase to turn LEDs on or off by dragging across them (hold Space to pan meanwhile). Each thumbnail below the editor is a frame: click one to select it, and use the buttons to duplicate, copy, paste, clear, invert, randomize or delete frames. Play previews it, Undo has your back, and Save keeps the whole animation as a file you can Load again. Generate turns it into Arduino code, and Export Layout lists each LED's label and x,y position for placing them on a PCB - Load takes that list too, which is how you bring in a shape none of the builders can make. Source is in the larsi-org/LED_Editor GitHub repository's p5js/ folder (MIT license). ☕ If you find it useful, consider sponsoring.
